The 70km Pro Challenge has some serious hill climbs and long sweeping downhill sections, taking some picturesque rural environments.The 32 km Recreation Challenge is an out and back course over undulating terrain and the river flats of the Waikato River bank.The event caters for cyclists of all abilities.
Free Bike Safe/Bike Wise programme for young children. Gordon MaCauley has supported the event since 2005.
The event is a fundraiser for Pokeno School and proceeds for the event go towards funding school community projects.
