New owners February 2011 Dennis, Joanne and Casey are excited to invite you to our home, set within the magestic tranquility of Lake Tekapo and surrounding mountains 710 metres into the Southern Alps of New Zealand Our Tekapo and Godley River rooms enjoy breathtaking and unspoilt views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our Tekapo room has super king bed which can be split into singles, while the Godley room has a king bed. Both rooms have modern ensuites, fittings, and come with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The Macaulay River apartment has two bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the other with 2 singles, with bathroom and shower. Open plan living and dining room with mountain and partial lake views. Self contained with kitchen and laundry. Guests are always welcome to join us beside the fireplace in winter or under the sun in summer

Mt Gerald Station (Run 77) is situated on the eastern shores of Lake Tekapo, and is bounded by the Macaulay & Godley Rivers & the Two Thumb Range. The lands of Mt Gerald have been farmed since 1858 and the term Run 77 is derived from Run (Station) numbers given to Stations in the early years. Run 77 Cafe and General store is the 'front of house' for Mt Gerald Station. We make good wholesome homemade food, using station beef, venison, and merino, and as much local produce as possible. Our Barrista's make the best coffee in town! Come try the Hunter Gatherer Pie, Venison Burger, Great Station Sandwiches, Pasta, and Fresh Salads! We are re-fitting the cafe 7th May for 2 weeks, for a new look SO WATCH THIS SPACE.
