Oroua Downs School
We are a rural school located 28 km west of Palmerston North. Our roll currently stands at 90 and is growing at a steady rate. We have a very experienced teaching staff, with all of our teachers having been here for numerous years now. Our school takes great pride in its academic results, with our literacy results in particular being of an excellent standard. We also encourage and compete in as many sporting exchanges and events as possible, as our students are highly active and very skilled. We are lucky enough to have excellent resources around our school, with two swimming pools, a great playground, good sized fields, and a recently refurbished administration area to name a few.
