About: The Department of Marketing first began life in 1966. Since then it has steadily grown to become one of the larger marketing departments in the world, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, which all benefit from the research-led approach adopted by the University as a whole. Oman Dental Student Association aims to establish connections among Omani dental students not just those studying in Oman but also those who were sent to study dentistry abroad. This association also encourages GDP and dental specialists to join the group as they are regarded as senior students who are required to update their knowledge throughout their life long careers. These connections will encourage students to think beyond the scope of dentistry course at any college. We are looking forward to gathering the Omani dental students from every place in the world in order to exchange latest dental achievements and updates. This is beneficial, not just for us as today's students but also for our beloved country and our people in Oman. ODSA, which is still under development, has become officially a corresponding member of the IADS.

Our staff and students carry out a diverse and interesting range of research projects. In the latest Performance-Based Research Fund rating exercise, the Department of Psychology was rated the top department at the University of Otago. We were also rated the top academic unit nationally across all disciplines when data from other tertiary education organisations in New Zealand were compared side by side.

Otago Polytechnic's School of Midwifery is nationally and internationally recognised as a leader in midwifery education. In our undergraduate programme learning is flexible with a mix of face to face, small group and classroom learning, supported by online learning resources, online tutorials and a large component of midwifery practice across all maternity settings. Students can study from their own home anywhere in the lower South and lower North Islands of New Zealand." Our midwifery school also offers registered midwives postgraduate midwifery programmes, including a Master in Midwifery programme and other short courses suitable for continuing education. The majority of short courses and postgraduate courses are online to fit in with the busy lives of practising midwives.
