My name is Prue Wignall. I am a speech-language therapist and PPP provider, who, after 3 years with the Ministry of Education and 8 years at the Templeton Centre in Christchurch, established this private practice in 1995. I enjoy working with people of all ages, with a range of speech, language, communication and behavioural issues. While I am generally Christchurch-based, I also work throughout New Zealand and overseas with the Merivale Language Development Programme, which has been designed for children with moderate to severe developmental delays and which can be delivered via email. Many parent of children with severe developmental delays feel that if they can just stay afloat, they will be doing okay. My personal philosophy and the premiss of my work here is: Staying afloat is not enough - the aim is to run on the water!
