Transplanted from Los Angeles, California, Kevin Allison opened Angels Gate Recording Studio in Christchurch in March of 2011. He brought with him the centerpiece of the studio, an API recording console - plus a fine selection of recording equipment and instruments – both new and vintage. Along with this equipment he also brings to the studio 40 years of experience in the music and recording industry.
Kevin is dedicated to providing New Zealand’s wealth of musical talent a great place to make music in a world class recording studio.
Nestled in the leafy greenness of Church Square, the Addington Haven is a quiet, peaceful building that has, for many years been used for meditation.
The Haven is now open to the public for use as a venue, for workshops and meetings, concerts and small gatherings.
