The Quilter's Barn is in a collection of shops known as The Vines Village, a tourist complex at 193 Rapaura Road. We have a large range of quilting books and patterns to fire your enthusiasm. Over 2000 bolts of fabric line the walls and more arrive weekly. Our range of made up kits has increased and there are many on offer. We have a large selection of patterns from New Zealand designers including Desiree Simpson, Tall Poppy and Arbee Designs, There is a range of embroidery supplies - threads, fabric, embellishments and kits. We are the only New Zealand stockist of Rowandean embroidery kits from the UK. We also have a selection of patterns and kits showcasing New Zealand, including our own NZ designers such as Jane van Keulen. A recent addition to our stock is New Zealand made yarns, The Rare Yarn Company, Touch Yarns and Te Awa. We have made up garments for trying on and to help you make your selection of pattern and colour. The yarns include alpaca/merino wool, mohair, possum/merino and natural wool. We have an extensive range of Gift Ware & vouchers that will intrigue and delight, including many New Zealand made gifts and crafts.

The Club run shooting nights on Mondays from 7-30pm. Shooting 0.22 calibre rifles at targets over 25m. Visitors are welcome, equipment and training will be provided by club members. Cost $4.00/block
