Windhawk Ridge is situated in the heart of the Marlborough Wine Region of New Zealand and many of the iconic photographs used by the wine industry and travel writers are taken from this property. A rare opportunity exists to purchase these stunning rural residential sites which are located immediately to the southwest of the Pernod Ricard flagship Brancott Estate Wine Heritage Centre and Restaurant and only a 5 minute drive to Blenheim airport and a 15 minute drive to the town of Blenheim. The wonderful Marlborough Sounds boating paradise is a 25 minute drive to either of the port towns of Picton or Havelock. The sites have been carefully located to capture the option of mountain, vineyard and ocean views with building sites that require homes to be architecturally designed in a manner that they integrate with the natural beauty of the land. Daniel Marshall Architects have been engaged to ensure that an architectural and landscape theme is retained to protect the value of these rare and select properties. The 8 Lots vary in size from 3.2 to 8.3 hectares and are bare land except for Lot 1 which incorporates an existing architecturally designed 5br home, office, helicopter hangar and charming guest cottag

TerraVin Wines

TerraVin Wines

65 Dillons Point Road, Blenheim ,
The TerraVin estate covers a total of 39 ha at three densely planted sites across the Southern Valleys of Marlborough. An organic farming approach is complemented by some bio-dynamic practices, tailored to the needs of each vineyard. All of the grapes are hand-harvested to preserve fruit condition and ensure gentle treatment. The Sauvignon Blanc is then wholebunch pressed to give a more textural style and the Pinot Noir is mostly de-stemmed before undergoing fermentation with gentle ‘pigeage’. Winemaking is judicious with indigenous yeasts allowed to take the lead and fruit expression front of mind. Sulphur use is deliberately minimal. The Estate wines are ready for bottling one year after vintage while the Reserve parcels are given time to evolve and integrate before being bottled, usually between 18 to 24 months after vintage.
