Welcome to Apothecare! My name is Erin , I'm an Auckland-based Naturopath, Nutritionist, and Medical Herbalist, working from a small clinic in Auckland, somewhere near the foot of the Waitakere Ranges.
My philosophy is simple: To help my clients to be as healthy and happy as they can, through simple lifestyle and diet changes and the use of herbal medicine where necessary. Being healthy doesn't need to be complicated and difficult - often the simplest things have the biggest impact (and are the most fun and easy, too!)
Whilst I'm happy to work with people at any stage of life, my key areas of interest are
- Environmental toxicity; helping people to understand it and the potential impact on health now and in the future, to heal from its effects, and to understand ways to minimise exposure
- Women's and children's health, from pre-conception to adulthood
- Pregnancy care and support
- Childhood learning, behavioural, and developmental disorders such as ASD, ADD, ADHD, etc etc
- Whole-food superfood nutrition for every diet and every budget
I utilise only the very best whole-food supplements, superfoods, high-quality herbal medicines, NZ flower essences, and combine them with realistic dietary and lifestyle approaches.
