Chess Power teaches Chess to kids across New Zealand through regular Chess Coaching sessions. We organise and run a number of Chess Tournaments across New Zealand. Chess Power provides a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their chess skills and to take part in many exciting and well-run tournaments throughout the country.

For the fourth year running the School of Language and Culture at AUT University are sponsoring the AUT NZ Creative Writing Competition. Every year the short story category is accompanied by a new category that is open to all unpublished writers 15 years and over. In 2009 it was song lyrics, in 2010 the screenplay, in 2011 graphic fiction and this year it's poetry.
Entry Criteria
You do not have to be an AUT student to enter. This competition is open to any New Zealand residents currently living in New Zealand. You must agree to all the terms and conditions to enter.
