welcome to hard luck, pioneers in the fine art of low brow dining. low brow is an art movement started in california in the 1970’s and has its origins in underground comics, punk music, hot rod and tattoo subcultures, low brow is some times known as pop surrealism and is represented by a sarcastic sense of humor, is meant to be uncomplicated , tabloid , mass market, a product of the common man. we feel that this suits our physical location on Krd the heart of the bohemian arts precinct and tattoo district.
It is our aim to show case fine new zealand products in an uncomplicated light with only the essentials you need to enjoy them. We offer a have it your own way type of food system, serve it up in a fun light hearted lounge room type of atmosphere as most people eat there daily meal in the lounge and not at the dinner table any more.
