There are a lot of experienced modellers who are more than happy to help you out with your boat. Come on down and have a look before deciding on a hull and power source and you can take a look at what's available and see what would suit your RC model boat requirements. Our format of racing rc boats consists of Oval racing, in a right hand direction which provides large straights and challenging corners. The guys are a friendly bunch and more than happy to help out a newbie, just make yourself known to the Club Captain. We run quite a few classes and there are some magnificent looking models that turn up on any given raceday. We cater for Nitro, Petrol and Electric boats.
The club was set up towards the end of 2003 following interest from a wide spectrum of surfers predominantly from the Hibiscus Coast/North Harbour areas of Auckland.
The aim of the club is to provide a social, competitive and networking base for interested surfers/longboarders.
The club presently has around 108 paid up members (male and female)
who range in age from teens to +50’s. The club has a low key friendly approach
and is open to anyone who is interested
(you don’t have to be a Kelly Slater lookalike or a pro-surfer).
We welcome anyone keen to learn or advance in the art of longboarding.
