Massey University School of Aviation

47 Airport Drive, Palmerston North ,
Massey University School of Aviation is an educational institute offering both a professional degree for aspiring pilots incorporating flight training (fixed wing only) with academic studies, and academic degrees for aviation managers. The first cohort of trainee pilots - ( "Massey 1 ")- began in 1987 and the School of Aviation was established in 1990 to meet the demand for well-educated people with initiative, drive, and a wider perspective of the industry. Our philosophy is that a pilot, educated to the highest university academic standards, and trained in accordance with industry best practices, is indeed an aviator with a difference, and an asset to any airline.
