RNZSPCA stands for the Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As a charity, we receive only 2% of our funding from the government - and this funding is for rural cases only (involving animals on farms). As such, we rely almost entirely on donations from the public in order to carry out our life-saving work.

We welcome all to our monthly meetings with regular speaker, research nights, trips and educational events. We assist researchers worldwide who have South Otago research. Monthly newsletters and an excellent website including an index and many features. We're here to help. Our members work as volunteers in transcription and indexing projects including cemetery and school records.

Clutha District Council is the local authority for the Clutha District. Our main administration office is located a1 1 Rosebank Terrace, Balclutha, while Service Centres are located in Balclutha, Lawrence, Miilton and Tapanui.

As the 4th largest employer in Otago, Presbyterian Support Otago has over 1100 staff and 600 volunteers working in a variety of sectors, from services for older people, youth employment, and services and programmes helping children and families make lasting positive changes to their lives. While we work in close co-operation with Presbyterian parishes throughout Otago, we are independent of the Presbyterian Church. Our services are available to all in the community regardless of culture, religious beliefs or background. Many of our services are provided by fundraising and we sincerely appreciate the support of our donors.
