Ski Haus is quaint alpine backpacker accommodation based in the heart of National Park Village. At the foot of the outstanding mountains in the Tongariro National Park - Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe. .

Our house is located a convenient 20 Minutes to the wonderful Tongariro crossing. Pick up and drops offs available on request. An easy 40 minutes to Whakapapa Ski Field for a fun filled day of fun and adventure. We are 5 minutes drive to Turangi township for grocery and banking needs. 40 minutes to Taupo, where you will experience spectacular views of the lake and there are many activities to enjoy on and off the water. Plus after a full day of fun there are some top class restaurants and more modest eateries to enjoy. Our house is 60 meters from the Tokaanu stream where you can do a circuit kayak trip in two hours. A safe slow moving stream takes you from the house to Lake Taupo along a tail race. Meandering back Into the stream passing geothermal bubbling mud and warm water in many areas of the stream. It is also a trout spawning stream so you can expect to see lots of trout. Enjoy wonderful walks across the road from the house. Take in the views and the birdlife on a romantic evening stroll or an exhillarating morning run. Close to awesome mountain bike rides and walks. World class white water, fishing and trekking. Tokaanu is a beautiful destination and our holiday home has everything you need for a family get away. Accommodation consists of 1 king size bed, 2 doubles and 6 single. Two showers and toilets. Sky TV, Projector, Pool table. Outside there is a large deck with seating and a picnic table. Kayaks, BBQ area. Another special feature of the property is its geothermal. Hot water pumped through the house, making it cosy and warm on those winter evenings. Lots of hot water and the lovely Hot pool, which can easily accommodate 12 guests Our charges are $195 per night for up to 4 quests then $20 per night for each person after that. Sheets and pillow case have a charge of $10 per person for the duration of your stay. Cleaning option of $60 - $120 is also available.

The Pony Club is set on 25 acres of land, with our facilities including an all weather 80m x 40m arena and a cross country course that caters from Pre Intro level to Training, along with plenty of Show Jumping equipment. Our two backcountry lodges are in superb locations, each offering a unique stopping point along the walk.

The Turangi Bridge Motel or "Bridge Lodge" to the locals sits on the banks of the magnificent Tongariro river. The cosy motel accommodation and lodge style Bar and Reestaurant is the perfect place to relax and unwind with everthing you need is at your doorstep. The Turangi Bridge Motel provides access to the Tongariro National Parkplayground with a large selection of all things outdoors.
