K9 Aqua Ltd is an indoor heated swimming pool designed specifically for dogs. Swim therapy has many benefits. It is excellent for the rehabilitation of dogs following surgery, for weight loss, conditioning of show dogs and dogs competing in sports, or for general fitness and fun. The pool is heated all year round, in summer at 25 C and during winter it’s a cosy 27 C. The quality of the water is maintained with a saltwater chlorinator. This keeps the chlorine content to a minimum and is very gentle on your dog. Safe non-slip ramps are provided for entering and exiting the pool, with a ramp inside the pool for your dog to rest on between exercises. Buoyancy aids can be fitted to your dog when required, this not only supports your dog in the pool, but also helps with confidence, should your dog be new to swimming. Following your dogs swim, he will be rinsed off under a warm shower, and towelled dry with the option of using a blower.
