CrossFit is the sport of fitness. It is a strength and conditioning programme that uses constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity.
CrossFit is a training system that is designed to prepare you for whatever life can throw at you. Workouts are short and intense, and incorporate elements of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing, running, bodyweight exercises and circuit training. We use kettlebells, medicine balls, barbells, rings, pull-up bars and more! It is hard work, a lot of fun, but the results you achieve will amaze you!
CrossFit is extremely effective for everyone. The needs of elite athletes competing at the highest levels and the needs of non-athletes differ only by degree, not kind. In other words they are both striving for excellence in their fitness and health goals. The load and intensity of workouts can be scaled to meet the needs of any individual – young, old, fit, unfit. You do not have to be fit to start training with us!!
Our programme delivers fitness that’s broad, general and inclusive. We do lots of different things, and literally every workout is different. That’s what makes it so much fun, you don’t know what your workout is until you arrive at the gym and look on the whiteboard. Participants will witness improvements in all areas of fitness including increased endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility, agility, accuracy, balance and coordination.
