We are a fully integrated health centre providing FREE healthcare specialised for diabetics. Our services include-
Retinal screening- We screen for diabetic retinopathy, examine the health of your eyes and check your vision.
Smoking Cessation – Our team of experienced cessation practitioners are available to help you stop smoking. We provide one on one support and advice either by telephone or in the surgery. Nicotine replacement therapy is available free of charge. Ask the doctor, nurses or receptionist for a referral.
Mental Health – Our mental health nurse is available to help you to achieve mental wellbeing. She will see you on a one to one basis or with your extended family at a venue to suit you. Referral is through the doctor or nurses.
Dietetic Service – The dietitian and nutritionist are available to give you advice on managing your diabetes and other nutritional needs. They can assist with healthy eating for the whole family. Ask the receptionist, doctor or nurses for a referral.
Podiatry – The podiatrist will assess and treat problems and give health education to help you avoid future problems associated with diabetes. Referral is through the doctor, nurse or diabetes specialist.
