Cakes by Nini shows the history of Nini's made-to-order fondant cakes, beginning with her first one baked in November, 2011. Nini does all of the baking and almost all of the fondant work herself. Nini's Mom helps with cake design and web promotions, while Nini's sisters sometimes help with fondant modelling. Many of Nini's cakes are a family affair. Nini is a licensed medical technologist whose parents wanted to become a doctor. But Nini's passion and flair for cooking is all too evident in the cakes that she creates. Happily for everyone, Nini's Mom is now her number one supporter and fan. In fact, there's a lot of mother-daughter teamwork in the production of each of Nini's cakes.
