It is particularly relevant for people wishing to pursue careers in general engineering, machining, toolmaking, fitting, engineering maintenance, engineering fabrication, and marine engineering. Holders of this qualification have the following skills and knowledge relevant to the mechanical engineering industry: - Health and safety - Trade mathematics and mechanics - Metals and other materals used in engineering - Fastners and assembly - Sketching - Measurement - Engineering tools - Machining or fabrication operations - Welding safety and procedures This qualification leads to trade qualifications in mechanical engineering and engineering fabrication at level 4 and 5 on the NQF, and ultimately to the National Diploama in Engineering (Level 6). We started our Spanish New Zealand Language Academy due to the Growing popularity of Spanish around the world. This is a phenomenon happening not only in New Zealand!!! So we started our classes with five groups of students from beginners to conversational levels, in classes of up to 10 students, so the learning environment is friendly and enjoyable. The feedback we have had from our students so far is very positive and encouraging to do our best and continue providing the one stop shop for those dreaming of becoming fluent is Spanish.
