We are a student-run organization aiming to enrich the student life of Indonesians studying in Auckland and promote Indonesia to the campus environment. A pageant with a difference, Miss Africa Auckland (MAAP) is an event that will prepare young African women for a better future by inspiring in them a pride for their heritage and culture. The pageant will steer away from the norms that are present in society by highlighting the intelligence, capability and determination of these women. Our members work as volunteers in transcription and indexing projects including cemetery and school records.

As the 4th largest employer in Otago, Presbyterian Support Otago has over 1100 staff and 600 volunteers working in a variety of sectors, from services for older people, youth employment, and services and programmes helping children and families make lasting positive changes to their lives. While we work in close co-operation with Presbyterian parishes throughout Otago, we are independent of the Presbyterian Church. Our services are available to all in the community regardless of culture, religious beliefs or background.
