Chickenman was set up to re home ex-battery hens that were no longer required by the commercial farms. These hens are usually approximately 14 months old and if not re-homed would be used for pet food, fertilizer and other not nice options.
We buy the hens, show them how to free range and acclimatize to their new lives and then sell them to the public.
We now also have hens from free range farms that would have met the same sad fate at 14 months. These girls are also available to the public for sale.
Chickenman now also stocks a full range of feed and all chicken related products to help you get started on a the fun filled road to owning chickens.
If you have any queries or problems please just contact us we would love to help.
