With over 35 years of experince Margaret has designed many of her own wedding cakes and have seen many changes over the years in design.
Our aim is to make our cakes as fresh as fresh -all made from fresh ingredients and are made to home made recipes. we also do birthday cakes from children's-students to adults cake plus anniversary cakes, Christmas cakes, christening and baby showers.
Margaret’s advice to all Brides-to-Be is to start planning your wedding cake at 4-6 months ahead to your wedding date. You’ll want it to be perfect and so do we. Your consultation may take an hour or longer. we do charge for a consulation if you confirm then the price is taken off the cake price.
Every detail of your cake is discussed – from the shape, sizes, flavour, design, ribbon, icing, boards and decoration. So there’s a lot to think about! You should also confirm your order 2 weeks after your consulation as bookings do get taken. Margaret then can get to work – making your perfect cake for your perfect day.
Margaret has many books, magazines, photos and her own experience to provide inspiration. There are 18 cake flavours to choose from: Fruit, Chocolate mud (a great favourite), White Chocoalte, Moist Chocolate, Carrot, Banana, Hummingbird, Lemon Madeira, Light Sultana, Coffee Red Velevet or Vanilla. For your special cake can even choose a different flavour for each tier!
Cup Cakes -we can do these for you -to be real fresh we do not make them until the day before the occasion
