Pan De Muerto

Pan De Muerto

82 Tory Street , Wellington ,
Pan de Muerto, Mystic Mexican Cuisine and Tequila Bar is an authentic Mexican restaurant based in Wellington, New Zealand. The new restaurant represents the progression of the original Pan de Muerto concept that first opened in 2010. The new restaurant brings to the Wellington dining set authentic regional home cooking/street food, using mainly imported ingredients alongside locally grown produce to create the most authentic Mexican dishes, just how it is prepared in Mexico. Pan de Muerto has created a very unique and friendly dining experience which caters for people of all ages. Pan de Muerto is now widely known for its friendly atmosphere, incredible decor and flavorsome food. The new restaurant takes Mexican dining to another level. The interior design has to be seen to be believed. As you enter the restaurant you step into another world, with a mix of contemporary and rustic design, and subtle details that will surprise. An infusion of friendly human size skeletons is scattered throughout the restaurant named. Affectionately named “Pedro”, this smiling sugar skull takes pride of place on the restaurants logo and is fast becoming synonymous with Mexican food lovers all across New Zealand. Like the design of the restaurant the food has been meticulously prepared and executed. The chefs like to keep it simple, just as they do back in the homeland. However, the new restaurant is approaching new territory by experimenting with a more modern twist on some of its traditional dishes. We look forward to having you dine with us soon. Gracias
