While this is a hosted Guesthouse your privacy and comfort is our ultimate concern with as much or as little interruption as you desire, it is your holiday after all ! Opening in December 2012 this house has been totally redecorated in pleasing neutral tones, with very large living area opening out onto an extensive lakeside deck with a spa pool, large BBQ and outdoor seating for 8. This house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an additional WC, 2 Bedrooms have panoramic views of the lake. There is a very large kitchen and you are most welcome to prepare your own meals or have us do them for you. A light continental breakfast is supplied each morning and served on the lakefront deck (weather permitting) The main bedroom has a super king bed which can also be made up into twin beds on request. This room has a brand new ensuite. There are also 2 Queen Bedrooms, 1 with a lake view, 2 with a comfy double window seat looking into a lush leafy courtyard. There is also a double bedroom and a spacious twin room with generous single beds allows for plenty of space and easy on the budget. As the rooms are varying sizes and configurations please specify when booking which room you require and on a first come first served basis it may be available and most definitely yours. The lounge also has a very large window seat with panoramic view of the lake, the perfect location to relax with a good book and a glass of wine. This is a large spacious family home which has now become available as a Bed and Breakfast/Holiday home if you prefer sole occupancy on prior approval for larger groups travelling together. This is a very quiet residential area so please bring your toys but no noisy jet skis There is a large garage which is a secure area to lock away your bikes etc. We have laundry facilities at no extra charge. Sky digital TV including the Sports channel. WiFi no data limits No Smoking inside please All linen is supplied including spa towels. Gay operated and Gay friendly. We are very close to all the local attractions and within 5 minutes walk to the local bus stop which operates a regular service into the centre of Rotorua. Also we are only 15 minutes away from Duntroon, which is part of the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail. We offer you a unique opportunity to holiday at your own pace and choose from the following activities:- Fly Fishing Hunting Tramping Mountain Biking Golf (Tokarahi Golf Course less than10 minutes away) Swimming Holes Horse Riding (for the experienced only!!) Or just read a book and enjoy the spectacular scenery We offer a variety of accommodation. We have a homestay option which can include dinner, bed and breakfast and packed lunch. We also offer the Spring Creek Hut which is a fantastic way of getting away from it all – literally! It's about an hour's drive away from the main homestead. It is self care, but sleeps 4 and includes gas cooking facilities and lighting. There is also a 'long drop' a few yards away. We have catered for newlyweds on their honeymoon at our hut. They rode our horses out and were helicoptered back in! The hut was specially decked out for their arrival. They feasted on French Champagne, oysters, home smoked salmon, homemade pate and a three course meal. We also have self-care huts a few minutes behind the main homestead. This has electricity and is self-catering, although dinner, breakfast and packed lunch can be provided by arrangement.
