As individuals commit to becoming the worshippers that God has intended them to be His Glory will fill the church, our city and our nation. For it is written "The knowledge of the Glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.” God is looking for a people who will love Him well and live for His Presence and His Glory in the earth. The Prayer Chapel is a worship based prayer initiative run by Dunedin Elim with the intention of seeing the restoration of the Tabernacle of David in our city, a 24/7 worshipping community of believers committed to loving God with all our heart, soul and strength. Welcome to GYD! Our aim is to provide a fun and welcoming environment to learn about Jesus Christ and his gospel. We meet 6pm every in-term Saturday.

St Matt's at 7 Service - 7:00PM The evening service is held every Sunday. It is a more relaxed service, and is usually around one hour long. This service aims to equip ordinary everyday followers of Jesus to be his 'witnesses to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and the very ends of the earth' (Acts 1:8). The key ingredients in this service are a focus on: God's Word - the most reliable way he has revealed Himself between the Ascension and Jesus' return. Singing Together - to express our love for God, and ground our theology in the words we sing. Prayer - for ourselves and others. Accountability - We want to take 'doing life' together seriously, so we are a community who ask about how each other are tracking with God, instead of just the weather or work, or school. We aim to break through the superficial banter, and to share our joys and burdens. Encouraging Young Adults - we are taking ministry to, and by young adults seriously at St Matt's at 7, so once a month we will be having a dedicated youth service. We are constantly walking with young people to help them minister in the youth service, and our regular St Matt's at 7 services too. The aim of every week will be equipping and growing God's people, so that we are ready to do what Jesus did - tell others that 'The Kingdom of God is near.'
