Dynamic Development Occupational Therapy Service offers in home/school assessment and therapy programs, which are developed to meet your individual child’s needs. From the time of the appointments, amount of family and school involvement and the therapy program itself, it is all shaped around you and your child. Does your child ever.... o Seem very clumsy - including bumping into things, dropping objects or falling over frequently o Have a poor attention span – unable to concentrate on one task for more than a few minutes o Seem fidgety or display disruptive behavior in the classroom or at home- risk taking, jumping, spinning or ‘acting out’. o Have difficulty with reading and handwriting -including letter formation and letter reversal o Display poor ball handling skills – unable to catch/throw the ball as other children of his/her age do. o Find it difficult to get dressed and handle personal care tasks -including buttons, zips and lace tying or washing and bedtime routines o Have poor social skills- unable to interact with other children appropriately- being withdrawn or overly ‘feely’. o Have delayed developmental milestones- e.g. crawling, walking ect… o Seems to be over sensitive to sounds, touch, smell or tastes- very fussy eating, unable to cope with loud noises, strong smells or different textures.
