The Monkey House Theatre can be hired for private functions, groups and comes with a licensed bar. We run films on a Friday once a month, and run other events such as the NZ Short Film Festival coming up again in January

The Mercury Bay Community Choir has been together since 2004.
In 2011 we became an incorporated society and member of the New Zealand
Choral Federation.
The choir performs 4-part choral music at concerts in Whitianga
on the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand.
The choir meets on Monday evenings from 6pm – 8pm during school terms
at the Mercury Bay Area School music room.
