The first Youth Summit hosted by Te Wananga o Aotearoa was held from 15-17 November 2011 at Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia. Rangatahi from Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Wainuiomata were invited to attend. Over their time with us they were introduced to a variety of ways to express themselves through the arts including - Music with NRG Rising and Jason Galu, Dance with Justin Haiu, Drama with Tammy Davis and Street Art with Mr G aka Graham Hoete.
