ComCol NZ opened our North Canterbury college in 1985 and since then we have been providing hands on, personalised training to students in a wide range of practical vocations. We provide small class sizes, lots of one on one time with tutors and lots of support to ensure that you achieve to your highest potential. All of our full time programmes are accredited by NZQA with the opportunity to complete a relevant National Certificate and we work with you to help you move into employment or further training.
Our Programmes for 2012 include four exciting Youth Guarantee Programmes (free to eligible 16 & 17 year olds) in Cookery; Barista; Outdoors; and Community Support. We also have a full time Community Support Programme that can be delivered on-the-job, for those wishing to pursue a career working with the elderly or in the disability sector. We also provide Job Connection training to Work and Income clients referred to us, in the areas of Barista; Retail/Customer Service and Community Support.

The programme is administered in New Zealand by a not-for-profit trust established by Rotary International. The Trust is registered with the Charities Commission. its registration number is CC25394.
Each year the Peer Support Trust offers professional development for teachers in the Programme, providing teachers with an opportunity to experience the Programme themselves and acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence to run the Peer Support Programme in their schools.
