We can bring our Chinese Folk Art to your parties, meetings and events for your entertainment Sugar Art. The sugar Art painting is the Chinese National Non-material Cultural Heritage,According to some research, this quite distinctive folk sugar painting originated in the Ming Dynasty, dating back over 500 years of history. It is almost extinct. Sugar painting, by definition, is made with sugar and painting, considered edible. Sugar painting’s vivid bright colors and shapes are loved by the masses, especially the children's favorite. Sugar Art is for kids and of all age The artists normally sit in front of table where there is a polished slab of marble in the middle. On the side are a revolving bamboo arrow and a wooden plate painted with various patterns in a circle. After paying about 5 dollars, the customer can spin the arrow and wait till it stops. The pattern the still arrow points at is the one the artist is supposed to make with sugar. If you are lucky you can get a Dragon or Phoenix sugar painting, these are the most difficult to do, it might take two or three minutes. If you do not want to spin you can chose a pattern for a bit more cost. This process is very interesting, allowing everyone have fun. As a unique work of art entirely from sugar, sugar painting is very different from conventional painting. First, if the cooling of the liquid sugar is quick, the painter has to work very quickly. The painter paints with brown sugar or white sugar as raw material, copper spoon and shovel instruments the marble slabs as paper. In order to obtain liquid sugar, she has the solid sugar boiled in a pot before painting. Tilt down the sugar spoon to draw a thin line. After a moment, create the image of an animal. Then the painter separates the painting from the marble with a shovel, puts a wooden stick on the painting and gives it to the kid. In the sunshine, holding the shining sugar painting when walking along the street, the child is proud and happy. My wish is to make my art and to bring joy and let everyone know more about Chinese culture.
