We are a friendly, Christ-centred and family-oriented Christian church based in the beautiful city of Wellington, New Zealand. We are a congregation firmly grounded on the Word of God, the Bible. We are reaching out to our community with the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ, and making Him known as the only sufficient Lord and Saviour to those who will come to Him by faith.

Baptist Bible Church Wellington’s purpose is to:
GROW
Grow and strengthen Christian followers according to the teachings in the Word of God, the Bible.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
GO
Go into the community and to the world to share the good news of salvation.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 5:16

Glow as a believer by being a good testimony and living a more Christ-like life.
