Oamaru Drag Racing at the Airport Strictly Street Meet, Rego, Warrant, Crash Helmet and a current Drivers Licence to Race. No Static Burnouts, No Standing Burnouts! As a first event in 12 years, this Street Meet will NOT permit stationary burnouts. Its just a "Roll-up, Stop, and Go". Admission: $5 Racers: $50 for pre-registration and $60 for entrants on the day. Limited to 120 entries Scrutineering Friday night at the Oamaru Hot Rod Clubrooms, Stoke street, Oamaru between 5.30pm and 8.00pm Saturday Airport Gates open at 8.00am for scrutineering. Racing starts at 11am. The Waitaki District Council have given us the privilege of using the Airport as a Race Track, so we need to respect the Track and property.
