Im not sure of the demand of this so im suggesting if we get at least 300 YESSES we put the wheels in motion. I can forsee this being a lot of work and would require alot of input from us all :) Can we please spread the word.

COME TO PUTAUAKI SCHOOL 2012 - Our three schools – Putauaki, Kawerau Central and Kawerau North have been asked to merge. - Currently we are interviewing teachers from each school for positions in 2012. The best “teacher” will be chosen in each case no matter which school he / she comes from. - The more children who enrol, the more jobs we can offer. - You have a choice as to where you can enrol next year. We would like to offer you the chance to enrol at Putauaki WHY? 1) You can have your whole family at this school from years 1 to 8. (New entrants through to Form 2). 2) We have had Year 7-8 classes for 12 years now so we are well-resourced and able to cover this age group. We have a very high success rate at Colleges for our ex-students. 3) We are a proven, well performed school. We have had very successful E.R.O reviews since 1990. This reflects the quality of teaching at this school. 4) We offer two streams of learning: I. Maori Enrichment – Year 1-8 II. Mainstream – Year 1-8 5) We take pride in being a well-resourced I.C.T School. The latest moves are in radio broadcasting and video presentation. Expect to hear and see our children as a result. 6) We have digital classrooms that utilise a variety of learning programmes to include Study Ladder and Mathletics. 7) We have an e-Learners Team at Putauaki who work successfully in, out and beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom environment. 8) Students at Putauaki are proactively involved in the Gifted and Talented Programme. 9) A number of families already come to our School from your areas. North School was a primary school closed last year now it is a moari school not sure what the name is though :)
