We created a Buy & Sell community, which has grown to almost 10,000 members in a very short space of time.
Including Groups in New Plymouth, Hamilton, Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington & Bay of Plenty.
People like trading via facebook because its easy and there are no fee's, and they can pick up items locally & pay cash.
Like anything there is always problems and some of these have been untrusted sellers, who will take money but not deliver the goods.
We wanted to create a way where people using the facebook groups could verify themselves as trusted members and start gaining real feedback to their name. Hence the making of www.buynsell.net.nz
What makes us different to other Buying & Selling websites?
People keep asking us what makes us any different to using other established buying & selling websites, we say we are right here, talking to you right now, and listening to what you have to say, we want your feedback and suggestions because we have made this website for you. We are also kiwi owned and operated, unlike other larger Buying & selling websites which are owned by Australian companies and charge large success fee's.
We don't charge any success fee's and all our general items are free to list.
Why do I pay to verify?
You have 2 choices, you can credit your account which automatically verifies you, or make a small one off $1 payment.
When you make a payment we have your traceable details, this means you have given us personal information to fall back on should there ever be a problem, it also says that you think its important to be honest and this makes you someone people want to trade with!
What benefits do I have to using your site over others?
Trading with other verified members from the site who also use the facebook pages, if you are an old hand at using the Buy & Sell pages you know how messy these albums can get, with some groups having 5,500+ members its hard to keep track of everything, this way you can keep all your listings in one place and bump the links as you wish, no finding your album, no deleting pictures, following up people who say they will buy, and you will also gain feedback when someone purchases from your listing and the website! Adding credit to your good name.
Also sharing the link will gain more and more people to the site, who can also benefit from listing items for free and bumping links on the facebook group pages. Loads of traffic to view your listings and we will also bump latest listings on all the facebook group pages!
A great feature we also have is that you can blacklist people from seeing and bidding on your listings. Who has'nt wanted to do that on the odd occasion!
You can use the site for free, we do charge tiny fee's for listing the larger items such as cars ($1 for used cars!), jobs, businesses & real estate but all other general items are free, you can choose to upgrade your listings to have them featured, or add photos etc, or pay nothing for a general listing. Its up to you!
