The laser is used in conjunction with an Infrared Scanner; the scanner is able to
detect the presence of muscular injuries, arthritic and rheumatic conditions,
circulation insufficiencies infections and inflammation.
It is also very useful for monitoring recovery from illness or injury, confirming the
effectiveness of treatment and pre-race checking to determine the fitness level.
It can also detect small injuries that may otherwise go undetected, that can
affect the performance on the day.
