Having your dog professionally groomed on a regular basis is an essential part of your dogs care.
Regular grooming will promote well being, ensuring your dog is comfortable and free from the irritation of dead hair build up so they will always look their best.
When your dog is booked in for a groom, they can receive the following treatments:
• Styling using clippers. We are happy to consult with you to find out what you would like and we are happy to suggest trims that suit your lifestyle and provides your dog with a comfortable coat.
• Thorough grooming to remove all dead hair and tangles.
• Nail trim – often not needed when the dog gets enough street exercise. Forty minutes a day keeps the toenails at bay.
• Bathing – all dogs are bathed using hypoallergenic shampoos and conditioners followed by a blow-drying. We stock a range of products and will select according to your dogs coat and skin requirements. If you have a shampoo recommended by your veterinary surgeon, bring this with you for us to use.
We are here to care and feed the sick and injured animals of Ashburton back to health, and find them loving homes. we rely on donations for funding and all work is done voluntarily by the wonderful people of Ashburton. we welcome any one that would like to help out with walking/feeding animals to call in to the shelter and offer, you can choose which ever day suits. it will be greatly appreciated.
