THE NAME KALAH IS SHORT FOR CALABASH. IT IS A PLAY ON OUR PLACE NAME "NGONGOTAHA". "NGONGO" - TO DRINK AND "TAHA" - A DRINKING VESSEL, HENCE CALABASH.
THE REASON WHY IT IS SPELT DIFFERENT
Lakeside Lodge is a small, award winning Bed and Breakfast on the shores of Lake Rotorua, offering quality accommodatio, great food, and warm friendly hospitality. Close to many of the major tourist attractions, but far enough away to be free of the sulphur fumes.
