First! First public library ever! In Auckland. Well, I mean the North Shore bit, pretty much. Since 1949! Which is like weeks before Facebook. I'm just saying. And we spent five years 'temporarily' located in half a gym so this new building would be just perfect. For you. Well, almost. Maybe there are one or two or three things that you might like to possibly suggest we could maybe do slightly totally better. I mean, apart from getting bigger hyper-plasma 3D HDTV screens, obviously. Obviously. Any suggestions welcome. Just remember: we already have free wifi, and study spaces, and meeting rooms, and cds, dvds, graphic novels, children's programs, homework centres, the CAB, a Council Office, brochures about everything, a matter transporter, two Tardises.. and helpful, helpful staff, magazines and - yeah - books. Books, books, books. Did I mention we were voted the best branch ever? (Okay, I just made that up. Still true though) In the meantime, we'll post things here to show what's new and what's happening, and how the library is actually the centre of the universe.
