Hydestor Manufacturing Ltd is a privately owned New Zealand company whose Directors are "hands on" in the business having over 100 years combined industry experience.
Our Head Office and Manufacturing facility is based in East Tamaki, Auckland, with Branch Offices in Wellington, Christchurch and Rotorua.
Employing a staff of over 60, we specialise exclusively in the development, manufacture, supply and installation of adjustable steel shelving systems and their appropriate accessories, utilising our in-house CAD systems.
The major components in manufacture are steel and powder (finishing) which are purchased locally, freight and labour costs contribute to the local economy, typically 95% of the componentry is New Zealand made.
The modern plant boasts up to date computer controlled manufacturing processes and the finishing is completed through our own semi-automated powder coating line.
The company has an ongoing commitment to service and quality being the first New Zealand shelving manufacturer to achieve certification to ISO9002 during August 1993, subsequently to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 during 2004 and is currently accredited under AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
Our client base is extensive and includes many of the country's most prestigious company groups, together with major government departments and associated entities for which we have designed and installed many significant projects.
The company has been exporting throughout Australasia and Asia for the past 20 years, regularly completing major off-shore installations and has gained an enviable reputation within selected market niches.
