We'd love to receive your unwanted goods and welcome you to our shop full of fantastic items for sale! There is an enormous range of stuff for sale that is ready to use or can be repurposed for more creative uses. We always have opportunities for volunteers to work with us to develop CReW into a thriving community enterprise. Come down and have a chat with one of the team; it's great to hear from people who have specific skills to offer, such as furniture repairs, bicycle repairs, electrical safety testing. We are part of the RCN E-Cycle network of electronic and electrical goods recyclers. Bring down your old computer or electrical equipment and we'll make sure none of it goes to landfill. There is a charge for some items to be recycled. We also accept all larger whiteware and domestic appliances, working or not.

The work of Whaktane Neighbourhood Support is holistic in nature, working in partnership with Police, Fire Service, Whakatane District Council - Emergency Management; and community organisations such as Victim Support and Community Patrols. Our key areas of concern are: Community Safety: reducing crime and the effects and fear of crime. Community Resilience: helping to develop community capacity to deal with adverse events.
