As the 4th largest employer in Otago, Presbyterian Support Otago has over 1100 staff and 600 volunteers working in a variety of sectors, from services for older people, youth employment, and services and programmes helping children and families make lasting positive changes to their lives.
While we work in close co-operation with Presbyterian parishes throughout Otago, we are independent of the Presbyterian Church. Our services are available to all in the community regardless of culture, religious beliefs or background.
Many of our services are provided by fundraising and we sincerely appreciate the support of our donors.
The 2014 Dunedin Fringe Festival will run from 13-23 March. Artist registrations open in September 2013 and close in November. Any artist can register an event, in fact the majority of the programme is made up of independent events produced by artists and promoted by the Festival. In addition the Festival runs a Comedy Club and a Festival Club. We will be seeking expressions of interest in both from comedians and musicians at the same time as artist registrations. An Information pack will be posted to the Festival website in the near future with all the info on how to get involved. If you can't wait just send us an email.

Stopping Violence Dunedin (SVD) is a not for profit organisation based in Dunedin, New Zealand, committed to reducing family violence and other damaging conflict in our communities.
Stopping Violence Dunedin provides individual and group education for people with violence issues.
People who use SVD's services may be self- referred or referred by the Courts or Probation Services.
Initially established as the "Dunedin Men's Action on Family Violence" in 1986, the organisation became 'Stopping Violence Dunedin Inc' in 1996. Stopping Violence Dunedin is a Ministry of Justice DVA approved provider of stopping violence group and individual education programmes for male perpetrators, and is an approved provider with with Child Youth and Family. We are a member agency of Te Kupenga Whakaoti Mahi Patunga (the National Network of Stopping Violence), and Jigsaw.
Meets lunch time Wednesdays at the Techniques, Harbour Terrace, Dunedin
Welcomes guests and other Rotarians at any time.
Involved in a range of community activities and works closely with local schools and young people in particular in a wide range of ways.
Regular meals on wheels deliveries to old folk
Loads of projects involving the Hospice, including the Remembrance Tree every year.
