WorkMates is a Charitable Trust that provides supported employment services in the greater Porirua and Kapiti Coast areas. We provide service to people with disabilities and barriers to employment. We assist them in gaining and retaining market waged employment in the open market arena. We have been finding people work since November 1995.

We have hundreds of young youth and volunteers in the community attend our events. The following local schools regularly attend and participate in PowerJam events: - Aotea College - Mana College - Tawa College - Porirua College - Viard College - Kapiti College - Brandon Intermediate - Titahi Bay Intermediate The schools provide entertainment through their students and by providing musical bands, dance acts, sports and performing arts groups.
