Methven Heritage Centre offers a range of modern and affordable meeting and conference spaces from 10 to 435 people. The recent addition of a visitor attraction, the NZ Alpine & Agriculture Encounter provides a truly unique space for hosting a cocktail party or launch event. The Centre also has a Cafe, 70 seat theatrette, Art Gallery, offices, the Methven i-SITE and plenty of on-site carparking, making it a truly versatile venue for conferences, events & weddings.
Mt Hutt Helicopters is situated at Alford Forest, just 15 minutes from the town of Methven and one hour from Christchurch.
Positioned at the foothills of the main divide, we are suberbly located to offer amazing scenic flights over the stunning Rakaia River, the Canterbury Plains and the breathtaking Southern Alps.
Our operation base is in the agricultral heartland of Mid-Canterbury. This coupled with our experience and local knowledge enables us to offer a variety of commercial helicopter services throughout the South Island.
In August 2010 we joined up with Coastwide Helicopters based in Greymouth, enabling us to offer our services on both sides of the main divide.
