Ceroc Dance Palmerston North

Ceroc Dance Palmerston North

98A Princess Street, Level 1 Central Rentals Building, Palmerston North ,
Ceroc is a type of modern jive, what that means is you are partner dancing to a range of music including many current top 20 hits with basic footwork and a variety of different moves. Think of a combination of Latin dances, Rock n Roll along with a hint of Ballroom and you get the idea. With Ceroc the footwork is also extremely simple so you can be dancing and looking really good very quickly. We are a lot less serious that many other dance schools, we think you should be able to come along and have a fun social time and just happen to learn to dance while you are there. You can come along any Monday or Thursday night that suits (and you don't need to bring a partner either). We don't run terms like other dance schools, each of our beginners classes is free-standing and suitable for complete beginners so you can start right away.

We consider your proposal, making suggestions on such things as your theme or artists statement. We will then agree to show your works, or a selection, or decline the proposal. We negotiate a suitable time slot when the exhibition will be held.Usually it is for approximately three weeks. We sign an Agreement setting out such things as payment ,installation and openings. When the time comes, we share the excitement of a great exhibition! Charges are currently $95 for the front gallery and $155 for the rear gallery, covering the whole three weeks. We often have new artists arriving with lots of questions which we do our best to answer. Usually it is sufficient for them to know what is available in terms of resources, either here at Square Edge, or further afield. Heaps of visual and performing artists use Square Edge and just knowing who they are is often all that’s needed. Through our contacts we may even be able set you up with another artist who could be your buddy or mentor, if that’s what's needed.
