We ride marked courses over set distances to set time with penalties added for being under time and over time. The horses heart rates are taken at the finish line and 1/2 hour later and the combined heart rates plus any time penalty faults are added together and the lowerst score wins.
The season runs form October to May with competitions being held monthly.
