Dunedin based club run by students of the University of Otago for students of the University, creating a unique and unmatched experience for players.
The men's first team plays in the ODT Southern Premier League and the Chatham Cup, supported by three other mens teams. The women's first team plays in the Otago Womens top division and is supported by the senior women's team.
The Dunedin Thunder play in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL). Taking on teams from Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown. The league runs from 25th May to 25th August, with 16 games split between home or away venues.
